Excellent location but wouldn’t stay again as needs a deep clean and updating. Positive: The location was excellent. Very short walk to the town centre shops (5 mins walk) and short walk to the river for nice dog walks. Liked that the place was dog friendly and that it included breakfast cereals, breakfast bars and croissants. Negative: The place needed a good clean! There were stains on the carpet, stains on the bed cover and marks all over the walls from paint flaking off. The bedroom cupboard has broken panels which were sharp and could cut your hands when putting clothes away. The tap in the kitchen constantly dripped and the bathroom and toilet sinks seemed blocked. They drained very slowly. There were no instructions how to work anything eg the coffee machine, the oven. There was no washing up bowl or a plug for the kitchen sink. There was 4 of us staying and they only left breakfast for 3 people (3 coffee capsules ridiculous too - should leave a handful). Overall we were very disappointed with the shabby appearance. We have messaged the owners who hopefully will go and look at these things and put them right before anyone else stays.
